Koukounaries Beach

The beach belongs to the best beaches in the Mediterranean and is also known as “Golden Sand”, since the sand is very fine and seems to shine under the sun.

The beach borders with the wetland of the protected area of the “Strofilia lagoon” where there is a specially designed place for animals.
